This will hopefully turn out to be a successful attempt to describe just how the physics in lineage 2 work. We'll see.

Reasons - because people asked for them.

1. Lack of interest on my part.
2. Lack of interest in helping on other people's part. People use the 2 websites, but very few help out.
3. Too many cheaters of different kinds in L2. I don't tolerate cheating so I really don't like the community very much. Because NCSoft tolerates cheating in various ways, I also don't like NCSoft very much. Various ways = lack of effort, turning a blind eye to ebay & account trade, allowing third party macro systems like nostromo, etc. I understand that many people enjoy L2 because you can cheat. I however am not such a person.
4. I don't play Lineage 2 anymore. I've lost interest in the game. CP Potions were the last straw. BSOE when you're flagged in PVP, boss jewelry, and the debaucherization of many aspects of L2 such as partying with other people, removed the fun from the game.
5. It's not a paying job and it takes a lot of time to work on.
6. I don't like helping private servers because of reason #3. Many private servers use l2p and l2calc to mod their files.
7. I started some parts of L2P and L2Calc to learn more about certain things like Javascript. I no longer feel the need to keep learning such things through projects like these.

Dear Community,

I'm discontinuing my support for Lineage 2. In case you were wondering, I've always intentionally kept the poor host out of spite. Lots of people have offered to host L2P but I've been ignoring them.

I haven't actually played Lineage 2 with any amount of seriousness in over a year. The only reason I stuck around was because of a poor sense of responsibility toward my 2 creations - L2P and L2Calc. It's high time I did something more constructive.

In any case, this is an announcement regarding the future of L2P. I'm officially giving permission for l2wh and Stratics to use L2P for their sites as they see fit. I do not give permission to any other site at this time.

I'm not giving permissions for L2Calc currently. Right now I'm in a position where I probably shouldn't authorize other sites to be using it. The only site I've actually given permission to use it on is l2guru. That may change in the future. What's most important is finding someone who can keep it up to date in my absence.
